RULES for Jason Gregor Show Charity NHL16 tournament

  • One entry per person.
  • Players must be 18 years of age or older on April 9th, 2016.
  • Players have to use the console and controllers we provide.
  • All games will be played on a PS4.
  • All games will be three five minute periods (real time), but the clock on the game will run 20 minutes (It speeds up 4x faster to match the 5 minute setting).
  • Players will not adjust the settings.
  • All games will involve the same two pre-selected teams. The away team will get to pick which team they want.
  • The first 100 paid entries will be eligible.
  • Every player is guaranteed three games.
  • There will be a random draw to split the players into 25 divisions of four teams.
  • You will play one game against the other three teams in your division.
  • Each player will be the home team once, the visiting team once and a coin flip will determine home team for 3rd game.
  • Two points for a win, one for a tie and zero for a loss during the round robin.
  • The team with the most points will finish first in their division, and so on for the remaining three spots 2nd to 4th.
  • If two players are tied. Tiebreaker is as follows. Winner of head-to-head match. If still tied, then player with more goals scored in his three games will win. If still tied then the player with the best goals scored to goals against ratio will win.
  • If there is a three-way tie the most points in head-to-head games will finish higher. If still tied the player with more goals scored during games involving the three teams will finish higher. If still tied, player with the best goals scored to goals against ratio will win.
  • After the round robin we will seed the 64 highest teams.
  • The 25 first place teams will be ranked #1-#25 based on points, followed by goals scored then best GF/GA ratio.
  • The 25 second place teams will be ranked #16-50 based on same rules at the 1st place teams.
  • The 14 highest 3rd place teams will be ranked #51-#64.
  • Then we will play single elimination games. #1 will play #64, #2 vs. #63 and so on.
  • The highest seeded team has first choice to be either the home team or pick the pre-selected team during the 64 team tournament.
  • Winners will move on and losers will be eliminated.
  • If a game is tied after 15 minutes we will play sudden death OT.
  • Players cannot share a spot. Only player can play under the registered name.
  • Prize must be accepted as awarded. Prizes may not be sold, transferred and is not convertible to cash. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. Prizes may not be exactly as shown in promotional materials. In case of unavailability of any prize or for any other reason and in The Bricks sole discretion, The Brick reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  • The Bricks Satisfaction Guarantee, Price Guarantee and Price Protection policies as published from time to time shall not be applicable to any merchandise obtained as a result of winning any prize or any portion thereof.
  • The Bricks liability for defective merchandise shall be limited to repairing defective or, where appropriate, to exchanging such defective goods within the manufacturers warranty period and in accordance with such warranties. In no case shall The Brick refund or otherwise compensate the winners beyond repairing or exchanging defective goods.
  • The Brick will deliver the prize to the winner’s home.
