Jason Gregor is a sports talk radio host on Sports 1440 in Edmonton weekdays from 2-6 p.m. He began his radio career in 2001 after graduating with honours from NAIT’s Radio and Television Arts program, and he has hosted his own sports talk show since 2003. In 2005, he started his own broadcasting company, Just A Game Productions, and he operates every aspect of his show: on-air, sales, marketing and promotions. His company owns the 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weekdays) airtime on Sports 1440.

The Tom Gazzola Show: 7:00 am – 11:00 am
Tom Gazzola has been covering Edmonton sports teams since 2007. His career began as a Studio Runner for Sportsnet Oilers telecasts. By the end of the 2007-08 hockey season, Tom was working for the Score and wound up on the beat for NHL and CFL games as well as the Edmonton Indy. From there he moved to Lloydminster to work the anchor desk at CKSA-CITL for two years before a brief stint anchoring sports at CTV Edmonton. Prior to the 2010-11 hockey season, Tom was hired as the first ever Lead Host & Reporter for Oilers TV where he spent eight years before moving on to assignments with TSN and TSN 1260.
For eight more seasons, he hosted Oilers pre & post game shows on different platforms, including TSN 1260. Since the 2022 CFL season Tom has worked as a Sidelines Reporter on CFL On TSN broadcasts in both Edmonton & Calgary.
In the spring of 2023 he launched his Saturday radio show “Hello Hockey” alongside his good friend and former NHLer Shawn Belle.
He is a graduate of the Radio & Television Arts program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology
The Frenzy with Halley & Douglas: 11:00am – Noon
Born and raised in Edmonton, Connor Halley always dreamed of working in sports, enrolling in the Canadian School of Modern Broadcasting at 19 and launching his radio career a year later. Since then, he’s been involved in live sports broadcasts and radio shows, both on-air and behind the scenes, before joining the Jason Gregor Show in 2018. Brandon Douglas, who grew up on a farm in central Alberta, pursued university before returning to farming, but in 2021, he followed his passion for sports, gaining experience with The Nation Network. Now, both Connor and Brandon are thrilled to be part of Sports 1440, bringing sports talk radio back to the capital region with an exciting new team.
The Lowdown with Lowetide: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Allan Mitchell (“Lowetide”) has been chronicling the Edmonton Oilers daily progress for two decades. His writing can be found at The Athletic and Lowetide.ca. He is a veteran radio broadcaster with a wealth of knowledge about sports that he brings every day. Jason Gregor began his radio career in 2001 after graduating with honors from NAIT’s Radio and Television Arts program and has hosted his own sports talk show since 2003. He founded “Just A Game Productions” in 2005, managing all aspects of his show, and is also the lead columnist for OilersNation.com. A dedicated philanthropist, Jason has raised over $2 million for charities and founded The Gregor Foundation in 2014 to provide graduation suits for underprivileged high school boys. Recognized with numerous accolades, including an Honorary Degree from NAIT in 2023 and Edmonton’s Top 40 under 40 in 2011, Jason lives in St. Albert with his wife and son.
