Hey Jason,
I enjoyed the segment with Rich Winter. I learned some things I didn’t know. It’s always a good day when that happens.
Your audience was engaged too, by the texts and emails you were getting. Please tell Rich those folks are not idiots or stupid. Someone might take that personally.
I can tell you both what is stupid. I tried to send this message via Twitter and I couldn’t because those words were in it and Grok wouldn’t let me send the Tweet. Pretty amazing
Rich talked about how AI can be used to measure how players react to athletic stress, situations in games, media interactions, etc. and how that data can be used to create a profile. The profile can be used to inform the player on what he needs work on, and the organisation on how to create and manage a culture.
That’s bumping into emotional intelligence and intelligence itself. There’s no singular AI methodology to do that. It’s equivalent to using an IQ test to determine how capable
someone is.
Here’s one to pass on to Rich.
Which of the following doesn’t belong: tennis golf baseball squash football.
According to the designer of the question there is one answer. According to the researchers, who analysed the test, there is more than one. Just for fun run that through an AI tool
Next time it will be very helpful for Rich to explain how he uses AI. Why he trusts it. What processes he uses. Where folks can find actionable information.
Let’s inspire folks to be informed and useful idiots! .
The Answer is football- no implements to play the game
Another Answer is squash- it’s a vegetable!
